凌霄50th世纪好歌金曲演唱会 Ling Xiao Glorious 50th Hits Concert
2017 marks local veteran singer Ling Xiao's 50th anniversary in the music scene. He was awarded with the Special Tribute Award in the year 2003, and Best Evergreen Male Singer in the year 2004 in an award ceremony held by COMPASS. He has released more than a hundred albums to his credits from vinyl records to cassettes and CD. He was crowned as the Top Ten singers in both Singapore & Malaysia and had performed in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam and China.
He is best known as the "Auntie-Killer" when he starred in several MediaCorp's TV drama serials such as 钢琴88, 播音人, 东游记, 甘榜情, 猪仔馆人家, 砂煲肉骨茶, 富贵平安 and more. He is also the resident judge for MediaCorp's singing contest 黄金年华 nurturing many music lovers and sharing with them his knowledge and experiences in the music industry.
Ling Xiao staged his solo concert in year 2007 celebrating his 40th year in the music scene and the concert was well-received.
